Seeing Black Rock City in action was the most amazing part of Burning Man.
70,000 people from all over the world gathered to be human together. People set up a shelter, make food, and celebrate life in the unwelcoming Nevada desert.
A friend described his experience at Burning man as witnessing “Free- Range Humans.” Similar to “free-range” chickens, they are let out of their cages to do whatever chickens do - eat, poop, peck.
People travel so far just to be human together. Doing what humans do - sleep, eat, dance, clean, work, create art, have sex, laugh, cry, poop, and maybe shower.
A city is created and destroyed for just one week.
For humans to be humans.
